  Notes	Perhaps is the child called Lucel in the 1915 North Dakota state census. Shown as step-daughter in the 1930 census in which she is Ardis L. Bagge and living at home with her mother and step-father in Bingham Twp, Trail County, North Dakota. She had addresses in West Fargo, North Dakota, and Moorhead, Minnesota, in the U.S. Public Records Index, Vol. 2. Ardis L. Braseth, 100, of West Fargo, ND, died Sunday, October 25, 2015, at Eventide Lutheran Home in Moorhead. Ardis Louise Thoe was born on March 10, 1915 in Traill County, ND near Caledonia to Arthur and Lydia (Swenson) Thoe. She attended country school and then Caledonia High School. Ardis married Roald Braseth on February 20, 1935 in Crookston, MN. The couple lived, farmed and started to raise their children near Caledonia until 1949. When they moved into Caledonia Ardis worked as a cook at the Caledonia High School for several years. She also worked on a seasonal basis for many years at the Jiffy Fry French Fry Plant in Crookston, MN. She retired and they moved to West Fargo in 1981; while in West Fargo, Ardis was a nanny for many different families. She moved to Eventide in 2005. Ardis was known for her love of cooking, canning, and baking, especially brownies. She also enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren, watching the Minnesota Twins and the Lawrence Welk Show. Ardis is survived by her three children: Gerald (LaDonna) Braseth, of West Fargo, Barbara Bueng, of Twin Valley, MN and Ronald (Jenell) Braseth, of Mayville, ND, seven grandchildren: Kimberly, Mitchell, Claudia, Jason, Melissa, Angela and Brian along with nine great-grandchildren. Other survivors include her brother Walter (Juanita) Bagge, of twin cities, MN and a sister Donna Benson, of Oregon. Ardis was preceded in death by her husband Roald, daughter Carol Preston, son-in-law DeVere Preston, son-in-law Curtis Bueng, one brother and three sisters. Funeral: Thursday, October 29th, 2015, at 10 am at the West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND with visitation one hour prior. Burial: Caledonia Cemetery, Caledonia, ND.
