He was living with his son, John P Ausen, in the 1910 census. His entry in Find A Grave: Peder and his wife Siri (Sigrid Olsdtr Leirdal) emigrated to USA with their children Ingeborg, Ole, Hendrik, Johannes, Ingerbrikt and Inga, leaving Bergen on the ship Claus Heftye April 23 1868 and arriving Quebec June 14, 1868.
