  Notes	His birth in Nunda Twp was registered twice. The first registration, on June 13, 1884, was for Alfred Thompson, born 20 May 1884. The second registration, on December 22, 1884, was for “Alford” O Thomson, born 20 Mar 1884. Called Albert O in the 1895 state census. Called Alfred O in the 1900 census. No longer living at home with his parents in the 1910 census. In the 1920 census, he is probably the O H Thompson, age 35, born in Minnesota, who is a farmer in Hartland Twp, Worth County, Iowa. He owns his farm but with a mortgage. His wife is Minnie and living with them is N H Mehus, brother-in-law. In the 1925 Iowa census, he is Olando Thompson (indexed Blando), age 41, living in Hartland Twp, Worth County, with his wife Ida, 35, their sons Harvey, 3, and Melbourne, 2, and a lodger, Raymond Fisher, age 18. In the 1930 census, as Olanda Thompson, he and Ida and their family live in Hartland Twp, Worth County. In the 1940 census, as Olando Thompson, he and Ida and their family live in Barton Twp in Worth County, the same house in which they had all lived in 1935.
