    Notes
    • In the 1900 census, she was Ingeborg Trontson, age 74, mistakenly shown as being born in December of 1825. She is living with her son, Thomas Trontson, age 35, born in Wisconsin, and his family in the town of Amherst, Portage County, Wisconsin.

In that census, she had had 4 children, of which 3 were still living.

It wouldn’t seem that she could have had a son Thomas, born in Wisconsin in 1865 or so if she was still in Norway for the 1865 census with, apparently, all of her children, none of whom was Thomas.
