  Notes	In the 1940 census, he and his wife and children lived in Decatur, Indiana. He was a cook at a restaurant. Five years earlier, the family had lived in Jamestown and Underwood, North Dakota. John H. DeBolt, 67, of Ranger, Tex., died Tuesday at Dallas, Tex. He had been ill for three weeks and death was attributed to a brain tumor. Born July 17, 1909, he was a son of John H. and Amelia W. Diener DeBolt. He was a former resident of Decatur and had lived for the past 33 years in North Dakota. He retired two years ago to Ranger. Survivors include the wife, Mildred; a daughter, Mrs. Beverly Holt of Dallas, Tex.; five sons, John C. of Montana, Eldred of Texas, James of Wyoming, Roger of North Dakota and Charles of Bismarck, N. D. and several grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Darrel (Naomi) Somers of Bluffton, Mrs. John (Esther) Schieferstein of Monmouth, Mrs. Ben (Mary) Monroe of Denver, Colo., and two brothers, Jerome of Fremont and Edward of Tampa, Fla. Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Catholic Church in Bismarck, N. D. The Nickisch-Ressler Funeral Home of Bismarck is in charge of the services.
